Actually TS di ka dapat matakot, Davao Oriental is where some of the poorest are. Walang pera yan, even if they do, it's not much and their influence isn't that far-reaching. It's just a 2nd class municipality of just a little over 8,000 households.

Punta ka nga pala sa Ombudsman office, dun sa PAO (Public Assistance Office) ireklamo mo yung tga LTO para matanggalan ng benefits at trabaho. Siraulo un e.

update lang po

nakikipag negotiate na yung relatives nung nakasagasa sa nephew ko. pero ayw pa rin nila ipaharap sa amin yung babae na nakasagasa na anak ng mayor. kasi minor daw po at natatakot dahil na trauma sa nangyari.

sinasagot na nila yung mga bills ng medical expenses at theraphy nung bata. pero they now want us to sign an affidavit of desistance. sabi namin papayag kami pumirma pero dapat yung lawyer namin ang gagawa at hindi kanila.

That's the usual case.

If you don't sign (and attempt to file a case), they have the option not to pay for the medication bills, etc.

Been there in one instance, and it's really traumatic for the driver and the kid alike!

Good luck and may the kid get well soon!

Better look forward and ask the therapist what are the possible effects of the accident to the child (physically and psychologically) and take that into account when doing the affidavit.

pero para saan yung affidavit of desistance? gusto nilang siguruhin na hindi na kayo magsasampa ng kaso? naku, parang delikado yan ah, any lawyers here who could give us some light?

tama lang po yung letter of desistance sir, kasi sasagutin naman nung suspect lahat ng gastusin and damages, paniguro lang nya na sa kabila ng gastos nya hindi na sya babalikan, sayang nga naman kung babayaran tapos bandang huli idedemanda din pala sha.
