Before I came home last Oct., 2008, I was watching Al Jazeerah on our ship's satellite TV and heard this news...A russian Cargo ship was boarded by pirates off the somali coast and was hijacked. The ship was transporting military hardware, including 20 Units T-60 type Main Battletanks for delivery to Kenya. A Russian Frigate was escorting the ship but did not detect the hijacking.
