As far as I know... you cannot charge the owner if the driver is hiding... The long arm of the law will still go after the driver who caused the incident..

I think kung nakasagasa or nakaperwisyo ang driver CRIMINALLY LIABLE yung driver, CIVIL LIABILITY lang yung owner. In this case responsibilidad pa rin ni Dok kung nakadale yung driver niya. lalo na in the performance of his job nangyari tulad ng paghatid sa anak ni Doc.
Unless na kinarnap yung kotse.

I know a lot of people na marami ding tinutulungan, pero hindi balasubas sa responsibilidad.
Unless publicity lang ang pagtulong sa kapwa.

Dr. Smooth,
My family is composed of three generations of physicians and we have 10 vehicles in the fleet. Medyo mataas din ang likelihood of mishaps at any given time. But not once have we 'failed in any of our responsibilities' because we know what it will implicate on us, our name, and our profession. I'm not the only one who looks at it that way since I do converse with Tsikoteers even off-board.
Ang mali ko lang siguro ay hindi ko na inedit yung statement after I posted it with a period on the end. That was supposed to be a question mark [which has since been corrected]. Thanks for the heads-up.
