    Agree here bro. Make sure that everything's in order. They could twist the official report and you could find yourself as the culprit of that accident.(It probably escaped me, but I did not see you mentioning that the investigation and report were accomplished). They could even ask you to pay a big amount of money later....

    Only TPL coverage is required locally. It is not unlawful to operate a vehicle without comprehensive insurance (which would be needed to repair the damage).

    As for pursuing the case, you can do it for the heck of it if you have the time. But I'm karma usually catches up to people like those. The drunk at 4pm guy that wrecked our Mercedes eventually got assasinated (not by us). That's justice enough for us.

    If you are not going to pursue, just make sure all the paperworks are in order so the other party cannot turn the tables against you.
