naalala niyo ung project where e-trikes were supposed to replace regular tricycles?

the one where PH borrowed money from ADB?

meron thread dito nun nang mga advocates like jpdm etc

    guess what

PH is already paying for the loan

    but where are the e-trikes?

    did they replace regular tricycles?

    noooooooo

there are barely any takers so the gov't is practically giving them away

the national govt is giving away (donating) thousands of e-trikes to LGUs

each costing 450K if i'm not mistaken

taxpayers are now paying for the stupid project

well of course the PH gov't screwed it up yet again

but from a purely technical standpoint those e-trikes do offer certain benefits but cost isn't one of them now if target market is willing to pay more then there's no reason why the project should fail. but if you'll be competing against motorcycles w/ sidecars in a cost-sensitive market then the e-trike will definitely fail

Issue ulit itong etrike or tricycle sa national roads.

Okay naman sila sa daan, basta nasa tabi ng kalsada para maka daan ang mas mabilis na sasakyan. Hindi iyong nasa gitna at walang paki sa naipon na tapik sa likod.
