so what was the logic in re-painting them lane separators, to make it appear that the road is now three lanes wide instead of only two?

The idea was, they can cram 50% more vehicles for the same area of that road. This can help alleviate traffic at the expense of less side-to-side clearance. However, this will only work if the vehicles fit!

This is ok if only light to medium-sized vehicles are allowed to use this road. You can't cheat physics.

They knew from the beginning that buses ply that road. You would think that they would have the foresight to keep the 2-lane configuration OR, maybe force buses to use only the outer lanes, but no.

Well doc i’m certain that a lot of SUV owners out there don’t even know the dimensions of their vehicles. “Basta kasya, pwede na yan”. BTW, the ford raptor may take 1 1/2 parking lanes on most mall parkings i bet [emoji3061]

Wala kasi consequences if you do something like that. The mall/bldg admin wouldn't have the guts to have that car towed.
