Me and the family just came from baguio last weekend. There was this PWD slot in front of the shops at Camp John Hay. Parking was full. I was shaking my head with disgust for those idiots who purposely ignore the big PWD only sign and still park at the PWD slot.

Good thing the guard on duty was vigilant and told each and every idiot not to park there.

Good thing the guard is doing his duty. I also noticed the same on expressways gas stations na may mga kainan, may nakabantay na guard and he was so strict on implementing that rule.

Judging by the wide spaces on both sides of most pwd slots, it's for when the driver himself is pwd and/or one of his passengers is. But if the driver is not pwd and can drop off his pwd passenger at the entrance and said passenger requires no assistance after being dropped off, then, imo, the considerate thing to do would be to let some other pwd (one who is a pwd driver and/or has a pwd passenger that he cannot simply drop off) use the slot.

Sir yung wife ko may lupus. Meron syang PWD ID. Ginagamit lang talaga namin para makadiscount sa maintenance medicines nya, check ups, and hospital confinement. Other perks ng PWD hindi na namin inaavail, like discounts sa restaurants, groceries, parking, etc. Iba kasi pananaw ng ibang tao pag sinabi mong PWD eh. Gets nyu na siguro yan. Hehe
