October 23rd, 2013 08:38 AM #3743What if the swift just backed in to the slot of the strada? From the blog posted, the swift came to the slots first, wala pa yun strada. So kung kinuha niya yun slot ng strada at paatras niya pinark eh di maluwag na sa passenger side. No arguments. No fights.

This is another example of an article / blog that's not showing the whole picture. Why are there no photos that show the space on the right side of the Swift? It's a normal reaction for anyone to get irritated / angry when someone is taking a picture of you or your vehicle. How would you feel if so someone started taking a picture of you, your family or your vehicle? Granted the driver of the SMC vehicle was also not correct for yelling but he probably just raised his voiced to communicate with someone who was outside in another vehicle across the passenger side window. The author just exaggerated the story to make appear that they were being abused.
People should not come to tsikot.com to get sympathy and use it for their own benefit when what they did was wrong in the first place. This is not your typical forum wherein you can rouse a mob using their emotions. When what you do is wrong, inconsiderate or violates the law, people here will point it out to you.Last edited by Walter; October 23rd, 2013 at 09:54 AM.

Don't expect other people to follow your wrong doings.
What irks me more is he expects sympathy for the reason that his wife is pregnant. Has it occured to him that he is in a hospital and other vehicles may have patients, too? E paano kung buntis din yun magpa-park sa tabi nya?

Sa haba na ng discussion... pag buntis or anyone na dinadala ko sa hospital or clinics for check-ups (or even sa mall or wherever), i always drop them off at the lobby before parking. Less risk. End of the story.
BTW: Mali si Swift for trying to justify why he has to park in such a way based on the photos and the circumstances that there are other ways for a thinking person to solve the issue (like let his wife step down and then he can park the car properly after). Mahirap kasi is one is trying to right a wrong, and with the wrong justifications at that. As for the other party, perhaps SMC employee could not have lost his head as well, just shake his head and pagbigyan yung nagmamarunong.
And yes, never expect sympathy from tsikot forumers if your case isn't that good.Last edited by vinj; October 23rd, 2013 at 10:23 AM.

Where are the pix showing the right side of the Swift? Yung "konting space" na nilaan for the pregnant wife? Hindi na nilagay?
Based on the side by side pic alone, the Swift is not just touching the line, it's over the line and already in the Strada's space. No two ways about it. No matter how faint that line is, it's still visible. Clearly, the Swift is parking stupidly. If I were in the Strada driver's place, that would irk me. Perhaps not enough for me to shout at the Swift driver and his pregnant wife, as alleged by the poster. But we need to know the other side of the story -- did the Strada driver really do what the Swift driver blogged about him? Was he really that arrogant? Or did he basically call out to the Swift driver that he's parking stupidly? Truth hurts after all.
With all due respect to pregnant women and their husbands/companions, you're not the first people to be pregnant or companions of pregnant women. As mentioned in this thread, konting diskarte naman -- like dropping them off at the hospital driveway para hindi na mahirapang maglakad from the 2nd floor parking, or having them alight from the vehicle so you can park it properly. I'm sure if you took time to alight in the parking lot, the j*ck*$$ behind you in a hurry will forget he's in a hurry and give you the time of day to safely get out. A lot of folks on this board have been with a pregnant woman in the past while looking for a parking slot, myself included, and surely improperly taking up parking slots with them as an excuse is not acceptable reasoning.
What if there were a slot just right for the Swift, without that extra room for the wife to fully open her door, would that mean the driver of the Swift would drive past it, and wait for an Expedition sized slot to free up? He'd probably ask her to get out first, right?Last edited by IMm29; October 23rd, 2013 at 10:39 AM.

Question, bat di sya dun nagpark sa kinalalagyan mg pickup and reverse parking? Since nauna sya sa pickup? Then the passenger side would have all the space he need.
