Actually even if it approaches P 100.00/L, magkakaalaman na yan. Dadami ang low mileage second hand cars sa market. :D
We had that pictured Toyota Crown model (2.8L, in-line 6, carburator) back in the late 80's... hayop kung uminom ng gasolina from what our old family driver used to tell me before.

Brand new altis vs. a restored KE70?
The restored one will turn my head, definitely.

People do discriminate old cars. Based on experience, ang nakakainis pa those feeling rich people like ung mga konyotic's na sasabihin pa sayo na "your car is so panget. i dont wanna ride there" as if they can afford to buy a car or even a Daewoo and while their house is just a lump of sh*t that just grew out of the ground. Both male and females to be exact. iisssh. Grabe makapang judge, as if naman. err. kawawa naman ung friend kong nasabihan.
Most people like in a gathering of some sort, you'll find in a sea of Fort and Monty's an old car, i mean OLD. you'll the owner being shot down by stares of those baon sa utang people that can't afford to buy their cars without Loans. Di naman mabayaran. Third world pa yung oto. asus.

Some people din, buy new cars para lang masabing may bagong car eh LOWEST VARIANT naman. Puro pa chrome accessories na baduyski and walang taste. kung makakita naman ng old car, yayabangan kapa at tataasan ng kilay. err

I love anything automotive. That said, I admit that I do discriminate from time to time. But it's not so much about the age of the other person's car but more about how ricey it looks... you know the type. Those covered in DUB stickers comes to mind.
Other than that, you won't hear a pip out of me regardless of how old your vehicle is. As long as you're not spewing oil on my windshield, you're just another car on the road.

Actually, kahit luma may appeal naman diba??
- A Mitsubishi Pajero Field Master would command more respect than a new Montero Sport
- May dating pa rin ang Honda Civic Hatchback
- Kahit bago o lumang Benz or BMW, may respect pa rin. Kung laspag, well
- Mas marami pa akong nakikitang First Gen na Ford Expedition kaysa sa bago
- A Toyota Crown of the 90's can gain respect as a current Toyota Camry does
