Mukhang sira yung harap ng kotse at yung likod lang yung natira na recognizable. Hindi malayong bumangga nga yung kotse sa truck or na-atrassn ng truck, but since it's before sunrise malamang mabilis mga takbo ng sasakyan.

Looking at the Mirage from that angle it does seem na kasalanan nga nung Mirage driver and the truck was mostly innocent.

Ang malabo lang talaga is why the truck driver absconded from the scene.
I dunno how much it would have helped, but if he at least stayed and personally made the call to emergency services aid could have gotten to the victims just a little bit faster.

A few possibilities and one is, the driver was drunk when it happened. Another is that he forgot to bring his license. He panicked and got scared. He was on drugs.

Now that he showed himself, we will never know.

i have lost count of things like these.
apparently, bikers have this habit of not thinking of their vulnerableness...

the last time it happened to me,
the bicycle pedaler was going the wrong way of a one-way street, in the middle of the street, at night, without any sort of illumination.
if i hadn't stomped on my breaks at that intersection, he might have gotten a broken bicycle or worse, a broken bone.
did he stop to look back?
not at all. tuloy lang, as if nothing almost happened.
