I almost never do that maneuver na backing out of a parking slot towards the opposite lane. As much as possible aatras ako sa current lane. Then I just make a U-turn somewhere.

i now drive with a memento of the mis-event. i also left my mark on the shop's alulod.

another time, despite signage to park facing wall, many of us backed up against wall.
for some strange reason, the aircon ducting was painted to blend with the rest of the concrete wall... it had a number of dents...

With modern cars pampahirap lang sila ng parking coz they end up falsely triggering the back up sensors. Nawalan ka pa ng reliable and familiar guide.

true! pinapaalis ko sila kasi either nagiingay ang sensor o nahaharangan yung cam.

when i'm in that situation, i usually use the parking spaces, kung maluwag like in the vid, para mag maniobra para nakaharap na sa tamang direction pag merge sa road at hindi masyado makasagabal sa daan.

Those bikes aren't cheap! 40th Anniversary R1250 GS Adventure.

The "regular" edition of those are P1.75M IIRC. The three bikes used in the stunt probably upwards of P2M each.
