May 12th, 2004 01:24 PM #32BUSINESS IDEA!!!!!
Let's make a new CAR-alarm + DEFENSE system.
A good car alarm should be sensitive enough to detect hits on the car body diba?
Why not rig up a device with the alarm that squirts brake fluid whenever the car gets hit. Hehehe...
Yun nga lang.. you'll run the risk of getting brake fluid on your paint as well....

nung teenager ako, I used to carry an aerosol can with me. ngayon, kung gusto pasimple, lagay mo sa paintbrush then daan ka sa tabi ng kotse.

Good point to consider.
Pinaka-okay na parking area sa Podium. There are plenty of 'slots' na wala kang katabi. In fact, even if Megamall yung pupuntahan ko, doon na rin ako pumaparada sa Podium just to get the nice slots.

June 1st, 2004 10:57 AM #37Last Sunday, I went to GB3 to relax and watch a movie.
As always, I chose my parking slot carefully. I found a nice slot next to a pillar. This left enough allowance (3ft!!!) from my passenger side to the paint boundary. That means that if the person who parks next to me stays within his boundary, he can open his door fully without hitting my car.
Unfortunately, Murphy's Law decided to rule the day for me. A gunmetal civic decides to park next to me. As in NEXT to me. He ignored the parking slot paint boundary. Pwede na sana kung may ample space pa rin between his driver side and my passenger side.
(See attached picture.)
Parang nananadya. Luckily, the driver was 'careful' enough not to hit my passenger side with his door.
What's more is that he car to his passenger side was properly parked within the boundary. Nagkaroon tuloy ng enough space to his passenger side and the other car to park a golf cart!
Sigh...

by the way honda city pala car mo?....nakakatakot yan a..because the doors are prone to door dings....wala kasing rubber yung gilid ng honda city eh...
atsaka out of topic.... grabe ang mahal ng parking sa greenbelt 3 a.... dati parang nag park yata ako mga 6 to 7 hours mga 80 php na....unlike sa rockwell which is flat rate ng 35 php...

June 1st, 2004 11:23 AM #39...or meron talagang golf cart na pumarada sa passenger side niya.
RE: prone to door dings
Yep. True. But so far, I'm lucky.
RE: Price of GB parking
Mahal nga. However, I think the price is okay if you are only going to stay for 2-3 hours... (enough for watching a movie and leaving..)

Kaya di na ko nagpapark for more than 3 hrs sa GB3, either sa GB1 ako or Park Square 2.
Did some independent research and decided to go with the white pearl crystal.... para maiba naman. ...
