July 12th, 2005 11:40 PM #11salamat daw sa mga madaming mata na naka lookout. nag lasing na lang kami nong lunes. hehe. It's good to know na maraming tumitingin-tingin everywhere.
Actually mas malala ang nangyari sa nakasabay niya na nagreport sa local police (Karingal), which happened earlier on the same date. Driving along Matino St. (UP Village din ito) at 12 midnight, his path was blocked by men armed with M16s, forced to drive in a nearby province I don't remember, then he was left on the road. He showed me the dark red bruise on his chest, as he was poked with the armalite. Buti na lang binuhay siya.
Sa madaling salita, for those of us around Teachers Village (or living in the Philippines for that matter), dobleng ingat. Crime is really on the rise.

I owned a 96 L200 myself and napakadali nitong buksan using a fork or spoon. I won't elaborate on the process pero one of the safety features that really helps is a loud alarm.
