They will be screaming to get you to stop the vehicle because they are being dragged. The guy should be tied behind a car and dragged for 10km at 65km/h so he will know that his reasoning is an impossible scenerio.

Jailed ‘robber’ cabbie faces more suits

MANILA, Philippines—Authorities uncovered more offenses by the taxi driver accused of victimizing female passengers, including an attempted kidnapping of an 18-year-old student.

Agents from the National Bureau of Investigation showed up at the Quezon City Police District on Wednesday to serve another warrant of arrest against Primitivo Sarmiento for a robbery case filed at the Manila Regional Trial Court.

Senior Superintendent Moises Mabanag, chief of the district Criminal Investigation Detection Unit (CIDU), said the agents also presented three more indictments against the taxi driver.

Mabanag said the agents were sent by NBI deputy director for operations Reynaldo Esmeralda to share with the QCPD three pieces of information filed by various complainants against Sarmeinto.

He named the pending cases as resistance to persons in authority, usurpation of authority, and driving without license (in the Antipolo Municipal Trial Court) pending cases of Sarmiento.

"We would be sending operatives to these areas for a more solid case against him,'' Mabanag said.

Sarmiento was arrested on Monday with the help of other taxi drivers in his house in Munoz, Quezon City.

He is now detained at the QCPD detention cell with no bail for estafa and kidnapping charges.

His arrest and detention stemmed from the charges filed by Valerie, (not her real name) who was allegedly victimized by Sarmiento on November 22.

Mabanag said they were still waiting for seven more alleged victims to file their complaints against Sarmiento for harassment and swindling.

The victims, he said, identified Sarmiento as the taxi driver who harassed and swindled them through the artist sketch released by police.

Apart from being in jail, Sarmiento's driver's license would also be revoked permanently due to the various offenses hurled against him by his supposed victims.

Don't count him out. He'll be back with a forged license...
