was on my way from Valenzuela from a very trying experience with NLEX since puro bagong asphalt na naman. Was on a steady pace when i suddenly heard a horn from a taxi from the wrong lane trying to overtake me. Biglang naginit ang ulo ko at hinabol ko because i wasn't even going slow and he had no right to overtake me that way.
Was on my way home to Del Monte when the car on the opposite side was overtaking another car and going into my lane. I turned on the high beam as he was clearly speeding and still on my lane. Aba, Nagbeam din siya and swerved only at the last minute.
If there is a place where there is no sense of right or wrong, we're living in it.

oo nga..pang GS itong thread na ito..
i share the same sentiments though..ALL puv drivers drive like s*it. sanayan nga yung sa mga bus..
i don't know what the deal is really with the bus drivers and the MMDA traffic enforcers in EDSA. i mean, they see them swerve and stop anywhere and these damn traffic enforcers don't even do anything about it. does anybody know their arrangements? why aren't people doing anything about it?

October 30th, 2004 10:51 PM #43yes, puv drivers are worse users of the road. sa pandacan, mga puj drivers, bigla lang hihinto sa gitna ng kalsada to load or unload passengers. tapos sasabihin sa iyo, "bosing, e, naghahanapbuhay lang". kaya sa halip na ma-asar ka lang, (which may cause your blood to boil and may result to heart seizure) tawanan mo na lang. tutal kung atakehin ka sa puso, ikaw din ang mapeste at di sila.
pero IMO, the worst users of the road are the privately owned vehicles na nasa speed lane (innermost lane) tapos tumatakbo ng 20 kph. walang paki-alam sa mundo basta siya 20 lang. then there are those who do not use their signal light, e, bigla na lang liliko. di bale ang mga puv drivers, ang dahilan e, naghahanapbuhay. pero ang mga ito, e, it seems they have the road for themselves. kung minsan 2 lanes din ang inu-okupa. kasali na rin dito ang mga sasakyan na may wang-wang, (legal or otherwise). tanong ko, bakit, sila lang ba ang me karapatan gumamit ng kalsada? sila lang ba nagmamadali? Kung public servant sila, more that they have to abide with the traffice rules and regulations. hindi na komo meyor ka, councilor, congressman, governor, etc at iba pang public officials, ikaw ang ma-uuna sa da-an.
kaya ako sa kalsada, cool lang. kung me ka-cut, e di mauna ka. nagmamadali ka yata. abide with the rule " do unto others as they would unto you".

Just went through Marcos highway from my seminar in Antipolo. One of the worse driving experiences i had, construction in between the road, u turns which constrict the road, drivers changing lanes at will, two or three accidents, drivers punching a tricycle driver who would change lanes with out caring about others, etc. its a miracle i myself didn't have an accident.

I've been driving for 3 years already. Ok, I studied in driving school, as we all know not everybody can afford it. I just want to share a lot of "f%ck**g" driving experiences. Just a while ago, my car was almost hit by this Mersan bus coz the driver races towards the waiting shed. He swerved towards my lane and as usual, binusinahan ko.
And they say if you can drive in manila you can drive anywhere???
Advice ko lang sa iyo:
1. GET USED TO IT.:D Ganyan talaga dito you cant do anything about it.
2. Try to learn how to anticipate the driving behavior of the vehicle in front, side, rear of you. It'll make your driving life easierLast edited by usokpower; November 1st, 2004 at 12:16 AM.

Just went to San Pablo to visit a friend, on a two lane highway these buses are doing at least 80 to a 100kph! swerving in and out... I'm not suprised with the number of vehicular accidents here.
Well just keep a cool head, its not worth it to get it on with these kind of people, you'll just shorten your lifespan

napansin ko lang dito sa atin na pasama ng pasama ugali ng drivers as time goes by. hindi sila natututo sa mga pagkakamali nila. lalo na mga bus drivers, they don't seem to care kung araw araw sila minumura ng mga private vehicle drivers kapag nag sweswerve sila. parang bingi na sila sa ganun. dapat sa kanila aksyunan na ng proper authorities. the only problem is they seem to be in cahoots w/ them. ilan beses na sila na-hoy gising dati pero hindi pa rin nagbabago. someone should let BF know about this. at least someone who is influential in society.
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
