Got little experience on Auto-lights, so please feel free to correct me. On the CRDI Starex, Auto-lights cover Park and Fog to head lights. So depending on how dark it is, determined by the sensor, the system turns on the park lights (with fogs, if they're switched on) and headlights.
I think you can also buy an aftermarket Auto-light set.

Autolights are nice to have...like the new Patrol which has a tunnel sensor. But do you really need it, such that it's worth spending more money on it?
The thing is... haller??..it's a basement parking, it's dark, 2 picantos can barely fit on a corner, you can't see at once if there's anyone on the next corner even if there's a big mirror out there... isn't that enough to send a signal to the brain(common sense yata tawag dun) that headlights need to be turned on?
It's not like forgetting to turn on your signal lights when changing lanes.

Is it OK to just leave the auto-headlights in the AUTO position? may nabasa kasi ako na masamang magstart ng engine with the headlights turned on (kung halimbawa sa gabi ka mgstart ng engine)..
