I do turn on my head lights and make it a point to slow down before the intersections to prevent collision with idiots.

Kaya pala may harang dun pang employees ata yun..Last edited by gearspeed; October 5th, 2006 at 01:41 PM.

I park everyday in a covered (basement) parking area and it is surprising how only a handful of drivers even turn on their lights inside.

hmmm... i really think the DRLs should be standard here as well. nga lang, i wonder how they'd work if you have HIDs.
either that or at least the automatic headlight (and foglight) "on" function. what cars is this feature standard. in my limited exposure, i've only seen this on new Starexes.
anyhow, any of the 2 options would do well for us.

Some people just turn on their park lights. While this is effective for those driving slowly, some motorists also want to see if there's a car coming towards you so the headlights are supposed to be on. The park lights are just there for idling in a dark place so people can see you stationary. The headlights are there for people to see you when you're moving.
One time may kasalubong ako sa parking lot without his headlights on and get this: gumagamit ng cell phone and he was TEXTING! Banas na banas asawa ko we were going to see a movie pa naman nakakasira ng araw yung mga ganun. This happened in Megamall. I turn on my lights all the time in dark places so I can be seen (and avoid fender benders/pedestrian mishaps too).
Here in the US maraming naka DRL (daytime running lights) pero that technology has a fault: it makes drivers get used to driving the vehicle without ever turning on the lamps dahil bukas na yung ilaw automatically pag madilim. Ayun, oras na nalipat sila sa ibang car, they don't turn their lights on or forget to.

October 5th, 2006 03:34 PM #29At the Netone Center (at The Fort) basement parking they have a warning siren, a green/red light indicatore and corner mirror. The warning siren alone is loud enough to be heard when you're listening to the radio.
Even then, marami pa ring sumasalubong sa akin even when I have the right of way. Kainis.

Any reviews for the Triton GLX 4WD 6MT? Siya ata pinakasulit na middle 4WD variant. Price range...
