sorry to hear about your accident bro! the good thing is you're ok!
i was in a like accident about 15 years ago. if he will persist and it leads to a worst case scenario, my advice is to get a lawyer and let him do the talking! that's what i did before and suddenly they were willing to end it.

Yes this is right! Offer them a quick claim for 10 thousand pesos only. Since your CTPL insurance could cover this, tulong mo na yon sa kanila and you claim this from your CTPL cover. This is aside from the medical expences that you have incurred. If they want more do nothing and report it instead to your insurance co. so they can send an adjuster. An adjuster is a third party that an insurance co hires to investigate claims. Let your lawyer talk to the adjuster since he could give him some points on technicalities (lawyers have limited experience on this things since they have to cover so many grounds while adjusters do nothing but deal with this kinds of business) saka alam na nila mga style ng mga loko.
About the NBI thing, dont take your chances, involve everyone and document it. I have seen this NBI at their finest and my friends father was
kidnaped once and after they have paid ransom his Dad was released from an NBI holding facility. Now imagine, his father is a lawyer and a reservist.
Just dont Take chances.

No. But you can include a BIPD subject for additional premium.
BIPD- Kung gusto mo kahit mababangga mo covered, (car, tao, pader etc.)again subject to policy limits. This is different from a comprehensive cover.
CTPL- Ang covered lang eh tao na mababanga mo. Policy limit is 100 thousand pesos.
This is the law. All vehicles should be covered by a liability insurance. though 100k is not enough. It covers only death and bodily injury.
Parang gusto ko tuloy mag start ng thread ng katulad kay dieseldude ang topic insurance.
