naabutan kong iniinterview ni ted failon yung mmda/police persons on the scene... tama si glenggi... the benz slowed down because a bus stopped in front of them (which was not a loading/unloading zone)...

the driver was not interviewed properly because he was advised to remain silent because his lawyer was on his way... what they picked up from the 'small' interview from the driver was that he has been subject to 3 accidents... he also said that he dosnt have his license with him because it was in a bag which got lost inside the bus... awcamonyoutinkwefools

nagbaba daw yung commuter bus sa labas ng loading and unloading bay area na nagkataon nasa likod yung benz.. so ginawa ng benz change lane to left.. parating yung gagong 2 bus na nakakarera... timaan yung benz..yun ang kwento ng mga witness..

one of the reasons why takot ako sa edsa madaling araw, at pag yung kia dala ko, di agad kasi makaalis,e...

hirap kasi sa mga city bus drivers, natuto lang magdrive, nagkalisensya na. walang mga alam sa traffic rules kung other than maging gupang sa pasahero!

thats why the yellow lane never really implemented. kasi takot ang autoridad i implement.. ngayon may MRT na.. dont understand the concept na bakit di kaya nila mag-stay sa yellow lane. maswerte nga pilipinas e 2-lane ang yellow sa iba 1 lang lang.

condolence nalang sa family ng namatayan. and hope makonsesya yung driver.

Simple. Because we have too many busses on EDSA and they have the bad habit of not moving until they are full. In other countries, those busses will drive off if you don't get on the bus in the allotted waiting time at the bus stop.

tsk tsk. badtrip talaga mga yan. basta marunong mag paandar ng sasakyan akala nila marunong ng mag drive. kelangan alam mo yung road courtesy bago ka maconsidered as marunong mag drive.

    Less idiot drivers for now...

3 bus operators in EDSA accident get 30-day suspension

MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Tuesday suspended the franchises of three transport companies whose buses figured in a bloody accident along Edsa early Tuesday.

LTFRB chief Thompson Lantion said the suspension will be in place for 30 days pending investigation of the accident that killed one and injured three others.

Lantion also ordered the owners and operators of Joanna Jesh Bus (TYG-660), Amtrak Transport Inc. (TYF-868) and Commuters Bus Corporation (TXE-812) to appear before the LTFRB investigation on the accident.

“We need to determine who among those involved in the crash are to blame and give justice to the victims," he said.

Lantion also ordered the insurance companies handling the bus firms to immediately process the claims and pay the hospitalization and others expenses of the victims.

Police said Francisco Sarabia, a prominent doctor, was killed when the Joanna Jesh bus slammed into his Mercedes Benz sedan at the northbound portion of Edsa near the Santolan Station of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT).

Sarabia’s body was charred when his car burst into flames. His passenger, Henny Garcia, was rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) and was transferred to the St. Luke's Medical Center.

Also injured were conductor Salvador de Guzman, 44, of Joanna Jesh bus; Ligaya de Guzman; and another bus conductor identified as Laurentino Bedino.

Police said the buses were racing and the Joanna Jesh bus hit the car and the two other buses hit each other.

All three bus passengers are now under police custody.GMANews.TV

mga pinoy kasi sarili lang iniisip walang pakiaalam sa iba... this is true not only to PUV drivers but also to Private Vehicle drivers...

Dapat lagyan ng way para ma limit ang speed ng buses.
Kainis naman ang mga ganitong situation, dapat mga
nasusunog mga corrupt officials natin, hindi mga civilians.
