Most of our law enforcers are probably too lead-poisoned to know this but a CAR cannot be diplomatic, immune, or all the more diplomatically immune by definition.

Diplomatically Immune only refers to PERSONS, not objects. Otherwise, diplomatic plate cars would be the prime target of every carnap gang in the country. Imagine, pag nagnakaw ka ng diplomatic plate na kotse at nanghold up ka ng bangko di ka puwede kasuhan!?!?

Kaya iba ang kulay ng plates ng diplomats is so that they will be extended diplomatic courtesy. Kung hindi diplomatically immune ang nagmamaneho nito ay puwede siyang arestuhin. Lalo pang mas magulo dahil iba iba ang levels ng diplomatic immunity from just about every country-to-country combination and every level of a diplomatic employment.

Di para madali, iisipin na lang ng enforcer na immune yung KOTSE.

Mabuti na lang at pag nakatapat ka ng sira ulong bus or truck driver, ni hindi nila alam kung ano yung ibig sabihin ng diplomatic immunity. Blue plate or not, aatrasan kayo ng mga yan!

Having a blue license plate-equipped car does not grant you immunity, UNLESS you're a diplomat. Even dependents of diplomats are not automatically conferred with immunity. Gaya ng nasabi sa itaas, hindi kotse ang may immunity kundi ang tao.

hahaha, really? well i never bother checking anyway coz i usually follow the law of the road whether i'm driving the blue plate car or not. In the registration there is an "exempted" category, i think that applies mostly to the tax and color coding. Fatal Traffic Accidents can happen to you whatever you're driving blue plate or not Thanks anyway for the enlightenment By the way, do you guys know if i'm exempt also from the yellow lane thing? coz the last time i checked with an enforcer he said that i can use the yellow lane (although i wouldn't dare do that repeatedly, mixing it up with those buses, ugh!)

I live near that area... there are a lot of military, congress and various gov't people living in that place (LaVista and Loyola Grand Villas)... both legit and "extra" families.
