IMHO, There is no such thing.

Kahit Porsche 911 pa yan, you'd still want the latest 911 incarnation. "Newer" is always more exciting. I don't think we can love a car for more then 2-3 years with the same intensity might even trade it for a 2nd hand older car just to have something "new" to play with.

for me, i guess its a VW Beetle. used to have one, 1964 model. but now, i have a Honda Civic 1996. so far di pa rin ako nagsasawa sa kanya kahit almost ten years na sa akin. reliable talaga e.

but if i'm to buy another forever car, i'll be getting either a BMW 523i or a Porsche 993 Carrera.

also, i want somthing that could withstand my adventures. a diesel. 4x4 pick-up. a land rover defender perhaps, or a willy's jeep. something that could go off-road.

My idea of a "forever car" would be a collectible car, a car that would give me pleasure just sitting in my garage 364 days a year (because I will have to drive it once a year, maybe on my birthday, LOL), something that appreciates rather than depreciate, something that will make me feel relax and will make me smile while putting 5 layers of wax, something that looks like new and barebone stock no matter how old it is, and with low mileage, no problems whatsoever and something very very rare.
I guess, but remember the 60's muscle car era, where gas was just beginning to become expensive and hp ruled? I think we are in somewhat of a renaisance. In 30 or so years, who knows, these hyped up cars of today could be the next big thing like the 60's cudas, boss's, shelby's in todays market. And you've seen some pics, there is no shortage of "wax" in my garrage. I even think Barry Meguiar would be proud!

a strada 4x4 pickup can be a forever car ... diesel, rugged, all-terrain, "bullet-proof" hard body, puwede mo i-repaint ng ilan beses

similar dun sa popular American pickup na parati ni-restore sa rural America

yun ba pickup nun foster parents ni Clark Kent hehehe
