browsing thru the buyer's guide ng C! mag kanina and napansin ko yung mga warranty ng different manufacturers... FYI lang...

TOYOTA, HONDA, MITSU, NISSAN, MAZDA, HYUNDAI - 100k kms / 3 years
FORD, ISUZU, SUZUKI, CHEVROLET, MERCEDES, PEUGEOT - 50k kms / 2 years
FERRARI, VOLKSWAGEN, HUMMER - unlimited kms / 3 years
AUDI, BMW, VOLVO - unlimited kms / 2 years
    PORSCHE - unlimited kmks / 4 years
    CHRYSLER - 20k kms / 1 year
    KIA Picanto - 110k kms / 3 years
KIA Rio, Sorento, Sedona, Pregio & JAGUAR - 20k kms / 3 years
    NORKIS Legacy - 6 months

sa US yata, 10 years ang warranty ng Hyundai.. bakit magkaiba pa warranty ng Kia.. wala ba minimum mileage at years ang warranty dito sa pinas..

some of those warranty periods are horrible - 1-2 years??!

hyundai offered the 10-year warranties at great cost to the company basically because their reputation was sh!t in the US market and no one would buy their cars so they had to take extreme measures to salvage that reputation and get consumers to give them another chance.

i remember the hyundai excel. worse car than the yugo - i kid you not

Di naman siguro..... yung ML series daw ng Benz ang worst pag dating sa reliability. Pero masama nga ang track record ng Hyundai before...... sila yata yung sinasabing disposable cars noon e.

I'm sure na 3 years yung warranty ng Suzuki ko pero not sure about the mileage.... correct me if I'm wrong pero 20K yata (atleast 100K naman sana).

3 years, AFAIK for FORD... with 5 year extended warranty available. That's not completely correct.

And the damn 6 month warranty is what kept me firmly away from the Norkis when I was considering it for light cargo work for my press.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
