January 8th, 2007 01:43 PM #46i suggest nka tint khet magic tints lng...yung nde dark...at the same time protection sa init for your skin also...kesa naman pogi ka nga pg wala tint, sunog nman ng balat mo lalo d2 pinas at mag susummer na, bawas pogi points pa dn sau... ..and nkakasira ng kulay ng dash bord sobra init....so tropa ko pormado oto nya no tints, pro nung nkita nya dashbord oto ko, ngulat xa pano na maintain same brand new look.....
just a suggestion.....

I had mine done for about 3.5k. 3M i think.
I say, go for the tint! Sitting in traffic, in the Philippines..without shade is not worth it in my opinion..especially if it's for Pogi Points. I had mine tinted and I'm grateful for it. I tinted my windshield very dark, and that's the part i regretted. During the day, it was ok, but, at night, in cavite, where sometimes there are no street lights..especially on the Aguinaldo Higway, you can't see potholes and sometimes you cant see people in the median of the road trying to cross. Delikado..unless you have HID probably.
Tint it, and if you wanna show off your pogi looks, roll down ur window n call out to all the bebots

i always prefer no tint, specially if your exterior color contrasts againts the interior(interior is beige/ivory, exterior is black or dark gray or viseversa). clean at neat tignan.
but in phil, tint is really necessary coz of too much heat..tried holding the tint of my santa fe for 2 mos, then just right after xmas, had tint(neutral) on the rear sides, parang toureg tint.
question.....VKOOL, is it really neutral? parang ala kang tint?

5 years ng walang tint oto ko... but still having the fair-lighted skin complexity, hehe!
Yung mga black translucent na car shades na mumurahin, yung nafofold.. may tulong din kahit papano. Also the rear shade (aka Sun-Up), meron oto ko nito, effective din.
Nakasanayan ko naring walang tint, nagbabalak nakong magpalagay dati, however I chose not too nalang for clear visibilty narin sa gabi!

I would recommend tinting, but do NOT tint your windscreen! Else you end up like a person who crashed into a concrete block, then went on looking for to someone to blame for the accident, suggested suing the dealership for "installing illegal tint on his car" (he actually wanted to sue the manufacturer for uhhh... something else). I don't know if windscreen tints are illegal, but trust me, it's not something you want on your car at night.
What vehicle and what's your budget?
What's the best car tint brand and color?
