    Am just curious. Do you already have the full specs for your three-wheeler (chassis, engine, dimensions, etc.)? Or is it just an artist's sketch?

    I am quite surprised at my friends' reaction re the XR3. When I mentioned to them that I was considering buying one, two immediately said they would be interested in getting one for themselves.

    So perhaps they might consider a locally produced 3-wheeler as well, assuming both perceived and real concerns (registration, insurance, safety, quality, etc.) are adequately addressed. I know I would.

    Hi architect,

    Sorry, it's just a sketch. If there was a locally made three-wheeler (two wheels in front), I'd buy one too.

    I wonder why nobody in the Philippines has produced one. It's simple to make (fiberglass body over a space frame with off the shelf mechanicals). It's a product that could even be exported to other countries.

    Well, technically tricycles are three-wheelers although they are definitely worlds apart from the XR3 or the TMax.

    As for mass production, I am not quite sure if it will be feasible in the Philippines as there is definitely a lot of concerns re safety, reliability, and image - perceived or otherwise.

    It will take a lot of consumer education to overcome the negativity. But, on the other hand, if it is positioned as a sleeker, better affordable alternative to tricycles, then perhaps there just might be an opportunity. Still, we don't want to be the pioneers with the arrows on our back.

    That said, I would not mind owning and driving one myself. Hmm, perhaps the PhUV group can build a three-wheeler prototype as well.

    sir architect;

    Salamat naman po at isa ka sa interested sa 3-wheels. Nagreresearch ako at nangangarap na makagawa ng isang 3-wheelcar. Kung gusto mong disenteng 3-wheels tingnan po ninyo sa google ang gekgo.com. Mayroon sila duon kaso mahal ang presyo pag na covert sa dollars. Kung gusto mo naman gumawa o mag paggawa, duon ki Jory Squibb's moonbeam 105 mpg car. Mas mura ito kong gagawin dito. Alam po naman ninyo ang pinoy magaling sa modifications. Ang target kong gawin ay ang moonbeam. Ang kaso lang kailangan pang pag-aralan ang makina kung pwede mag diesel engine(pang- genset ba) na gamit ang biodiesel ang fuel.Marami na ako nakita sa internet na diesel engine ang ginamit instead na gasoline engine para motorsiklo.
