    I hope this is not a re-post.

    Ever get tired of old timers bragging about how cars from the 50's were better than modern cars? Particularly, they say that older cars use thicker body panels as compared to the almost paper-thin sheets used in today's models.

    Well, thicker is not necessarily safer. Show them this:

    Well, today's cars are designed to fold up progressively, to dissipate the forces away from the driver. Notice in the slomo how the modern car progressively collapsed, how its passenger compartment remained intact?
    btw, that's a prefectly unacceptable way to destroy a classic!

    Id still go sa safety ngayon, mas makakabili ka naman ng bago if you get totaled kesa naman serious injury dahil matibay nga kaha ng oto mo.. hindi na din
