July 2nd, 2007 07:50 PM #301That is the obvious question.
If the MVPMAP is seeking a slew of entitlements and incentives for the PHUV and are presenting something any decent credible analyst wouldn't touch with a positive recommendation, then it does make us question, what is this really all about?
I agree, utility vehicles should be given more exemptions. Light trucks in Thailand, for instance, are cheap, exactly because they are viewed for their utility rather than something of luxury.
Giving the PHUV a leg up still gives Filipino consumers a poorer choice at the expense of tax payers.
Pragmatics have a lot to do with how capital equipment decisions are made.

hein,
I am really impress. And you got alot of following. Just keep on bashing Mr. R of MVPMAP and PHUV....I believe it makes you feel good.
Ang Hari, just let this guys do their thing...when they give comments that are are close to insults to the PHUV, let them...
But when you make a corresponding reaction against their "negative comments or should I say insults...I hope they will allow you too...

With all due respect sir EVO-V, we hadnt seen the final PHUV vehicle. What we saw was a prototype. When the final product is finally released, then let us have this challenge.
By the way, we had a L300 FB before and it cost us 600k with aircon. I dont like the feel of the interior and its seats (front and passenger)are terrible.
Im hoping for the best for the PHUV. If improvements will be introduced and incorporated--- as per recommendation of the Tsikoteers (better engine, better workmanship, great upholstery, efficient aircon and aircon vent, fav ni Hein---improve doors, trims, rubber, grille, brand new etc.)--- to the PHUV--- at 450k and brand new, puede na.
Naku, 450T?!? Tumaas na yung presyo. MVPMAP is cutting too close to the 600T price of the L300's.
Second hand japanese utility vehicles run at about 350T.

i'm definitely seeing a pinch of postive aura in this thread. jpdm does have a point ya know. anyways, if you're gonna critisize, try being a niky or hein type of tsikoteer. critisize the vehicle, not the people behind it or anybody within tsikot.com
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
yeah i think glycols are sweet so pets may drink if not bittered. seems like that's the only...
