with your kind of work, i'd go for a pickup...
preferably a ranger! you won't be missing your gas engine with the ranger's very competent diesel engine...

A lot depends on your preferences IMO. I went from a sedan to a pick-up and i really like the looks, practicality and economy that i got... The performance also wasnt that bad given i had a 2.7L na diesel engine... it more then enough to keep me going with the traffic and get ahead on some occassions. However there are still times that i miss driving a sedan or prefer driving a sedan. If you have a sedan that you can have at your disposal for some occassions, pick-up wins for me hands-down.
BTW, do you also ferry 5 full sized passengers out-of-town regularly? they wouldnt be too happy with a pick-up IMO.

Definitely a 4x4 pick-up. We are in the same situation 2 years ago. Pero try considering the small SUVs like the RAV4. CR-V, etc...

August 22nd, 2003 08:33 AM #25for long distance over unpredictable roads? hehehe, 4x4 pick-up dude!
pero kung palagi kang merong maraming supplies or gamit dala, baka mabitin ka sa storage space...unless mag lagay ka ng lockable camper shell (ask kimpoy) or utility box (Carryboy etc.). :D
flexible ang pick-up and with the right suspension mods, a good sound system, walang pagod ang mga 250 km and over drives. lalo na pag F-150 (magastos nga lang!)

Oist kabaleyan nasa nursing field ka pala.
Ok rin Pickup pag sa Pangasinan gamit. Yung bro ko naka pickup kahit saan nya dalhin ok.
Depende sayo yan. If you want rugged dependability kuha ka Pickup. Cons lang matalbog na ride...minsan hirap maneuver sa tight spaces lalo na pag sanay ka sa car. Pero masasanay ka rin in the long run.
If you are not hauling anything naman yung pickup bed kase sayang lang unless you use a cover for your stuff.
Mag Compact SUV ka na lang. Mukhang ok X trail! mahal lang sa gas compared to owning a diesel pickup.
You can also consider an AUV.

- Kainis lng yun X-trail,yung face nya parang face ng pick-up Frontier.
- Aksaya lng yung gas nong X-trail...
- Bilib talaga ako sa pick-up ng Nissan lalo yung aircon nya...

- Maganda ba yung my Carryboy sa likod???
- Or mas maganda kung roll-top lng ang ilagay...
- I'm thinking kc pag Carryboy parang ang labas nya ay Crosswind, parang hinde na pick-up...
- Ano sa tingin nyo???
