    Another sad day at Ford...

    When it debuted as a 2002 model, Ford said it expected to build no more than 25,000 Thunderbirds a year. The production prediction turned out to be optimistic. By 2004, sales had slipped to 11,998 units.
    WIXOM, Mich., July 6, 2005 -- It was a bittersweet moment Friday as the last Thunderbird was driven off the assembly line at Wixom Assembly Plant.

    Ugh, what ugly cars... Just from the looks alone I would opt for a japanese sedan, which would also probably last longer and have better mileage...
