Overfilling of engine oil will shorten your engine oil seals. Learned this the hard way. Every change oil 6 liters nilalagay, dapat 5.25lang. Kaya ayun, nag leak ang oil seal, nababad ang timing belt, palit tuloy ako timing belt + oil seals at 46Kkms only. Dapat sana hanggang 60k or 80k pa yung timing belt, pero nag premature fail na dahil sa sobrang langis.

the best is to follow the specs, kaya nga may dipstick e.pero IMO,half liter is not so bad,pag umaandar nasa itaas naman o nasa walls ung equivalent ng half liter na yan e.aeration will not take place, pwede pa kung underfilled kasi hangin na mahihigop ng sump strainer mo.e nakalobug un sa ilalim, papano hahanginin.di gasket ang unang bibigay kundi mga oil seals.cyl walls ay splash fed kaya kailangan din na may splash ng oil for lubrication syempre at to lessen the heat of your upper crankcase.Kaya d'best...keep it in level.drive safely!
