I was 16 when I started driving. I only had a student permit when I was in driving school, then after my lessons, I got my non-pro right away. I took a test that even a monkey would pass. hahaha! The hard part was the practical exams because they had me drive a beater car!

For the first 3 months, my Dad rode with me not more than twice (because I begged him too), my brother and Mom NEVER. I was left to drive alone the whole time. After 6 months, they let me bring my car to school na. That was the 90s though, not much cars and motorcycles back then.

I suggest, start within the village and then around the city. When you are confident enough, you can take EDSA (and other large roads) Personally, I'd rather be alone than have a stranger ride my car.

She said night shift so I assume working.

May iba naman 20s or even 30s na natuto mag drive. I have female colleagues na late 20s and early 30s na natuto kasi that was the time they got to save up for a car.

Tell me you are kidding. It's the same. It's like saying a flat is different from an apartment.
