September 4th, 2006 04:47 PM #21hmmm, have you ranked what you consider to be important for this purchase, i.e.
-- porma
-- comfort
-- maintenance
-- resale
-- tunability
-- etc.?
kung wala kang inclination towards a brand/model, ranking the above should help you decide

With the way Honda handles the complaints of many owners of Civic FD (aka Factory Defect), i'd advise you to stay away from it for now.
If i were in your shoes, with 1M in my hand, i'd get a compact SUV. Why? Lots of bumpy and deep potholes on our roads, floods etc.
Last night, we were one of those who got stuck in the Manila flood. I was driving a 2007 Santa Fe CRDi Turbo. I was so dumbfounded and surprised at the height of the flood of about 3 Feet (I wasn't even expecting any!).
Seeing all those nice cars submerged in flood, helpless, most stalled, it became apparent to me that SUVs or high ground clearance vehicles are better here in Metro Manila. It was my first time to drive in a flood since i live in QC.
While in the SantaFe, i was just cruising in the flood effortlessly with no worries. I saw a fellow with a Sorento (a multi-awarded US model car by KIA Hyundai) running beside me too.
For your budget, get the multi-awarded US model Hyundai Tucson CRDi. Diesel is the future.

Panasonic Lead Acid is now under GS Yuasa. Sent from my SM-S901E using Tsikot Forums mobile app
Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
