You don't need a lawyer to show up if ever may hearings.
My father just represents himself (and he is a physician by profession, auto enthusiast by choice).
Mahigit three cases na naipanalo namin though mostly against private parties.
But you can also talk to the guy that handles their insurance and stuff.
Btw, wala kaming comprehensive on all our crashed vehicles.

when i lived there i was hit twice - one by a bus driver and one by a jeepney driver. my strategy is just to ask for my deductible in cash (or whatever they can give me from their cash drawer) - alam ko hanggang doon na lang sila, swerte pa kung maka-P500 ako dun.

i hope the govt can implement that all public vehicles carry comprehensive insurance before being given a franchise or make the public transportation be runned by the govt to minimize traffic due to greedy bus drivers and conductors wanting more passenger for more profit (or take home pay). Why can't the govt look at developing countries and 1st world countries and copy how civilized their public transpo. (i.e. Singapore, States, etc). imo

December 15th, 2004 10:35 AM #19they should install cameras along edsa ang keep track of bus drivers driving recklessly. pag naka strike 3, icancel kaagad ung franchise ng bus. tutal sobrang dami namang buses along edsa e.
buti sana kung bisikleta ang hawak nila, kahit gaano kabarumbado magmaneho e sila lang ung madidisgrasya...if you drive a bus like a jeep, ung ibang kotse at mismong pasahero ng bus ang namimiligro
