I have a 1981 200D, have 200k kms on it, not yet overhauled, got bored with it too slow, so used it only on weekends when i am not in a hurry. Its manual with power steering, have it serviced at Charon Motors at Congressional Ave. not too expensive, just right, they have all the parts you need for a W123.

The 240D was crashed and later (post restoration) was purchased by a neighbor. I did not get to drive it during the time it was with us as I did not have a license yet. hehehe.

I checked out a 300D wagon for sale near Cherry in Congressional. Unfortunately, the price did not agree with the unit's condition. Charon is pretty near where I live, too.

Update lang: Naatrasan ng Nissan Frontier ng kapitbahay yung W123. Tinamaan yung driver's side rear fender. Bodywork and paint damage.

Hindi ko nakita yung damage. Gabi na kasi ako nakauwi. Pagkagising ko kaninang 8am nasa talyer na daw yung sasakyan (6:30am dinala ng driver). Baka sa Tuesday pa matapos.

Sana ok ang restoration. Paintronixx ulit gagawa.

Hindi ko pa sure ang final cost. May Benz event na pinuntahan yung may ari ng shop today. Specialty nila talaga ang Benz kasi and sumasali sila sa events. Hindi naman siguro kasing mahal ng Civic ng pinsan ko!

May ibang minor areas for touch up din kasi.

AFAIK, its Php3k per panel sa Paintronixx before tawaran.

that 3k+ bilstein shock price seems to be just right.
my immediate reaction was, "ganun pala ka mura ang bilstein?" :P

gas shocks for a midrange jap car also cost about that much.

Mura lang ang parts ng W123 and very serviceable siya. Madaling kalikutin.

Mapapagastos ka lang talaga if you want it 'perfect'. Yung tipong ayaw mo na i-drive. hehehe.

Otep-where did you buy electric locks? what brand? Works even in fuel door and trunk? No problems with actuator?
