Chevron bought the shares of Texaco thus it is now called Chevron and not Chevron-Texaco anymore. The Techron is just an additive...same as the old Vortex. WIth the new image that Caltex (named retained because of brand recall) has now here in the Phil., the Techron products are now being offered in almost all Caltex stations. Ang pang-tapat nila talaga sa Blaze and Velocity is Techron Platinum (available na in other Asian countries). Pero hindi pa nila dinadala dito kasi hindi pa feasible coz the demand for high RON fuel is not that much. Pero hopefully soon ilalabas na rin yung Platinum.

i really cant say, matagal na kasi ako lagi pa-gas sa caltex, i always fill up with the vortex gold, i haven't felt any difference. i still have the same fuel consumption, performance, etc. if in case na selected caltex stations lang yung may techron talaga, i've already visited stations in different locations, cguro naman naka tsamba na ko at least 2 or 3 stations na meron talaga di b?
