    Wow; didn't realize Mitsu had that low a ranking in Japan.

    Not surprising. The Lancer is too big for the Japanese compact market, the Colt has never really been competitive and there's very little Mitsubishi has in the Kei market worth mentioning at the moment.

    In the U.S., Mitsubishi is doing even worse. They ran 16th for 2011, behind even luxury manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW and Audi.

    Mitsu gets to do well in the Ph because of the Montero Sport and other ancient products such as the L300 and Adventure.

    bad reputation among Japanese consumers due to defect cover-up scandals.
