How fast do you drive?

Going to work: Using our 06 Sonata which has a top speed of 137mph:
Normal driving: 55-65 mph (89-105 kph)
On the freeway: 75-85 mph (121-137 kph)
The fastest I've gone when in a hurry: 130 mph (209 kph)

When I visit my uncle in Nevada and drive my old 1991 HKS Plymouth Laser RS Turbo and doing speed runs on a deserted road:
The max speed I've done is 150+ mph (241+ kph) and watch the gas needle actually move slowly towards E. Supposedly, the top speed is near 162 mph (261 kph). But, I haven't the balls to push the car all the way, esp since I'm married and have a family. Plus, brake pads and discs, Z-rated low profiles, and the clutch all cost quite a bit to replace.

Factory stock, my 91 Laser RST has done 142 mph (229 kph).

pero usually i wanna be ahead of everyone...

Lahat naman gusto maging ahead eh.hehe..

basta ako 80km/h lang takbo ko sa mga highway pero kung trip ko speed freak ako nun at defensive driving pa rin..

i only drive fast kapag male-late ako which is 9/10 of my lakad. hehehe

di naman ako ogag sa kalsada kahit matulin.....minsan lang

concerned naku sa fuel consumption ngayun kaya mabagal, zoom zoom lang pag kabisado ku na walang lubak yung kalsada tska pag nasa mood, which is about 5% of my driving time

sa dh nalang aku nagcocompete masyadong tame kasi sa oto tsaka tipid pa sa gas

ibaiba tlga... pagtipid mode, mga 40-60. paggalit mode, 70-100. pagLBM mode, 100-140 hahaha :D

my..
timid city driving: 60 - 70kph
normal city driving: 80 - 90kph
agressive city & highway driving: 100 - 130kph
demonic highway driving: 140 - 200kph

sa highway panga pla, 100-140 din :D

pero sa sobra pagmamadali ko nun, umabot narin ako 185kph hehe

Speeding is like a natural high much like skydiving and bungi jumping when that adrenalin gets flowing. It can also get very addictive almost like a drug. You want more and more and more. Good thing I have an asawa. If not for her, baka natepok na ko dito.

hehehe. i agree. my wife is my speed limiter/reminder when shes with me. somehow she can see the speedometer better than me.
