    Hello mga tsikoters.

Hingi lang po ng suggestion in somehow can properly store my car better for a long time. Mga 1 year po

May car is Hondaa CR-V 2004 4x4 Automatic

Ngayon , naka lagay po sa loob ng bakuran in an open shed, medyo mauulanan yung gilid at maaarawan.
Things i did were, to have the car for a change oil. Pa vacuum ang loob at carwash pati ang pang ilalim with pressurized water, have the AC general cleaned, replaced evaporator driver and expansion valve and cabin filters.

Pwede lang ako umuwi once every 6 months and take the car out for a drive.

Leaving a car for long periods of time:

    - disconnect the battery (avoids discharging it)
    - place the car on jack stands (avoids deforming the tires)
    - place moisture absorbers inside the vehicle cabin & trunk (avoids moisture inside, minimizes molds and fungus growth)
    - water proof car cover (avoid exposure to dust, sun and water)
    - shaded parking space (less exposure to elements)
    - vermin traps/poison-baits (prevent rats/mice from making your vehicle a home)
    - drain fuel (E10 gasoline spoils in 4 to 6 weeks in the fuel tank. Just pour in fresh fuel when you get back)
    - drain the radiator (or pour in fresh anti-rust fluid)
    - replace the motor oil when you get back

I see, good to know. Btw, how about on cars used once or twice a month? Is there something special needed in storing it or while it is not being used?

not advisable yung "papa -start ang sasakyan twice a week for 10 - 15 minutes.

    Agreed.

Given the TS' current lifestyle, he will not be around for a year and it seems he has no definite plans to stay in the country beyond a few short visits. In that kind of case, it would be better to sell the vehicle and just rent/hire/borrow a car when you are visiting the country.

Mahirap pala talaga or imposible pala talaga mag store ng walang maraming problema. And yung bahay namin is more than 30 kilometers away from the city proper with mix paved, gravel, tarmac at pag rainy season, mud (parang rally) kaya po 4x4 kaya baka mahirapan sa rent a car.

Storing a car is what I really wanted, I am aware of the options and considered it. Selling it is not an option for me. My only choice is to store a car to the best possible condition. Hope you understand
