hmmmm hindi ba delekado ang fiber glass kasi pwede mag crack? i'd still go for carbon fiber, yun nga lang, MAHAL!!! :D

February 3rd, 2004 10:38 AM #3fiberglass is ok if all you're after is weight savings. it's not to strong tho. i think 7500 is ok na for a fiber hood pero check the design coz if mali placement ng butas, when it rains it could drip on your headers which will cause them to crack or rust prematurely.

one of the biggest headache of a fiberglass hood is heat damage expecially right above the headers. This damage can be seen as bubbles or discoloration or paint cracking in the affected area.

February 5th, 2004 11:32 AM #5if you're going to get a hood get a stock designed one nalang. looks better pa in my opinion plus wala ka na headaches.
