Overpriced for a low end car.

The Jetta/Sagitar isn't really that low end, its a solid car with a lot of standard safety features...
the base model is like a BMW 116i, it may have steel wheels with covers but it also comes with lot of safety features...

Euro brands and japanese brands have different priorities...
euro brands usually prioritize safety & convenience features, while japanese brands would rather trade these features for bling(big alloy wheels, chrome trim etc).

I think the reason why PGA Cars won't buy the VW brand dahil sa prices ng cars ng VW these days.

Its Auto Prominence Corp thats overpricing the VW models. They jack up their prices higer and quicker than any other euro brand in the country.
Can you beleive from 2003-2004 Auto Prominence incresed the price of the Beetle 1.6 by around P225,000K?

The LHD VW Sagitar would be much cheaper than the Mexican built Jetta.
China is the only other country manufacturing the all-new Jetta.

Its the more practical sibling of the Audi A3.

About the prices of chinese assembled cars...
Chevrolet is imports the Lumina 2.5 from China, its built by Shanghai-GM and is sold here for P1.34M
In China it costs around 210,000 yuan or about P1.39M...

To much trouble to sell such a low volume model and not worth the dollar going out of the country. now if they sell second hand models here maybe worth a second look.
