The way I understand it, the 4G-92 sa Lancer pizza ay SOHC pero 16V. Ang 4A-FE ay DOHC na 16V. So the cam lobes on a 4G-92 are pushing arms that push the valves... Please correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't seen an open a 4G-92.

i think ung nagiging misconception is that kung DOHC, mas madami intake valves na kinuclose-open, compared to SOHC(tsikot gurus please verify)
so i guess you really can't say which *OHC engine types really eat up more fuel...you're gonna have to take a closer look at the car specs

pano naman po yung mga 12 valve SOHC? 2 valves/ cyl intake, 1 valve/ cyl exhaust??

correct. if not sohc, normally kasi ang mga 12V e mga pushrod engines. correct me if im wrong.

Namention lang kasi ng friend ko dati (who happens to own both a '97 Civic VTi A/T & a 2000 SiR) na mas malakas sa gas yung SiR considering mas luma yung VTi at matic pa. :D

Maybe he drives his Si-R more agressively. Pag nag engage kasi yung 3rd VTEC profile, natural mas malakas sa gas
