just have your vehicle assessed, then buy your parts, then bring back your car.

btw, what's included in the 80T PMS? ang mahal naman ata nun sobra... i think it should include the air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter at the least. have all your belts and fluid levels checked.

No problem with oil changes (I do it myself when I have the time). Pero when it comes to bigger stuff, naku ako napapakamot ng ulo sa kanila, eh. Grrr...

Cousin Ferdie magaling din dumiskarte iyan kaso by appointment (ganyan talaga kapag sikat - in demand!). Ayoko na magpaholdap sa casa.

And how can you ever build a good working relationship with your mechanic kung kada balik mo iba hahawak ng sasakyan mo?

Salamat sa mga suggestions mga pips!

To be totally honest, hindi kasi ako masyado ma-alam sa ins-and-outs of car maintenace and parts. I have to rely on the manual and take as truth whatever the CASA guys say. But I'm slowly trying to absorb lahat ng mga sinasabi sa mga forums like Tsikot.

    TSARCOLEGREY:

Who do you recommend sa 2211 Motorworks? Do you have a particular mechanic that you trust?

By the way, I've heard na mahirap bumili ng parts for Honda cars...sa casa lang daw meron...if that's the case, how do I get hold of parts na kelangan palitan?

    greenh,

2211's specialty are Mitsu's, although I'm very sure they can also service your car but I would recommend Chieffy first (customer din nya ako) Kung gusto mo talaga sa 2211, I think Benny is the contact or probably the owner, not sure.

As for the Honda parts, my friend who has a honda buy his parts at Carpower at Taft Ave. near Pasay Rtd.

If you're coming from EDSA going towards Roxas Blvd., upon reaching corner of EDSA and Taft, turn right ka sa Taft. A few meters ahead in your right side you will see ATCO. Carpower is right beside ATCO.

original honda parts are available mainly in some shops in banawe or in honda itself. replacement parts are available everywhere. for the timing belt, go with original as much as possible. for suspension parts, ok lang replacement basta good brand.
