I go for long drives, usually Baguio or Zambales. For me, that's the best way to break in a car.

15kph naman is slow enough for someone to get in and out of the car safely if done properly.
^Common advice given during break-in is that your speed should vary.
what's break in?
di na kelangan ng break in wag lang over rev yun ang nakakasama sa makina.
What are you guys thinking? If he wants to do it, let him do it. I'd be interested to know how he gets off his car & gets on it after. Bro, based on my car computer, takes me 24 hours to do 700+ kms.
Sakin ung break in dinala ko sa norte ung sasakyan. After nun akyat naman nang baguio. . .
Break in, not only for the engine, but also the handling characteristics. (steering, brakes) saka yung mga electrical components, test all the equipment during night driving.
kaya kailangan talaga itakbo ng long distance at high speed w/caution.
Yung owner's manual talaga best reference mo about your vehicle. During break-in dami kong narinig na conventional wisdom tulad ng bawal lumampas sa 80 KPH, wag lalampas sa 2K RPM, etc. Yung manual pa rin sinunod ko at no problems so far.
Siguro i will go with conventional break in na gentle driving for the 1st 500 kms, then hatawin ko na for the next 500 kms..that will be tested on both gentle and harsh driving condition i think
hi, papaano kung hindi siya nakaindicate sa owner's manual, does that mean no need for this break-in procedure?
Regular city driving is already sufficient as break-in. That means you operate the motor at half power just to loosen up its sliding components and allow oil and greases to fully penetrate the bearings and rings, but hot enough to work the gaskets, seals, bolts and o-rings properly.
Once these components are duly primed in about 500km or so, then you can push to 80, 90, and 100% power.
just had our wrangler jeep overhauled, just be gentle in driving- no sudden brake and acceleration said the mechanic.
