For wholesome, serene, and organic food, with a view of Mt. Banahaw, check Costales Farms. It's between the boundary of Lucban and Majayjay. Highly recommended for that non urban vibe. Good organic food with cheap prices. Educational as well for the kids and even adults re organic farming.

Manila East Road. Some call it the backdoor. No expressways. Old National Hiway.

I still prefer Baguio for usual roadtrip, especially now that the expressway is almost finish.

Well paved straights, twisted roads, great foods, nice weather.

Actually gusto ko yung spontaneous trip lang, kaso bringing the idea pa lang ayaw na agad ni esmi hehe minsan nga gusto ko biglain na lang. Tipong balikan na trip, kain lang dun then uwi din.

That's what we usually do. Balikan lang talaga. Leave QC at around 4 or 5 am, brunch at CJH, then go down at around 3pm.

I did the MM - Manaoag - Baguio(lunch) - dinner at Matutina in Urdaneta - MM day-trip thrice already with wifey... Very good experiences, bro....
