Best Driving Road in the island Luzon ???

The Skyway may be nice, but it's too short.

The NLEX is a great place to "stretch your legs", but it's an expensive stretch.

That's why i make it a point to go on weekend trips to Baguio with my folks once in a while... hehehe. My dad isnt too pesky about speed as long as it's in the right environment (heck he was the one who taught me how to drive).

The mountainy province of Rizal, From Antipolo to Jala Jala... Especially if you have those RWD Nissans!

North:
- stretch of Bacnotan, La Union to the bridge before Tagudin, Ilocos Sur
- Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur (scenic yung hiway, coastal view)
- After Laoag, yung road going to PAgudpud
- Zambales stretch (from Iba to Sta Cruz) coastal view din
- Pangasinan (Sual - coming from minor curves downhil straight towards Alaminos)

South:
- stretch of Quirino Hiway in Sta Elena, CamNorte to Ragay in Cam Sur
- the stretch in Dolores, Quezon to Gumaca

Mindanao:
- stretch after Digos going towards GenSan

Visayas:
- [SIZE="7"]Iloilo[/SIZE] (stretch of Pasi to Duenas)

Sa iloilo, pulido, maluwag at mahaba ung road papunta as bagong (sta.barbara) iloilo international airport. (pwede magland ang maliit na airplane)(watch out for honda cr-jeeps overtaking you)

Personally i'd leave out the roads that are basically vmax straights (Skyway, NLEX, Star toll). Those are "blasting roads", not "driving roads".

ang problema dito yun pabalik in the evening. hehehe! lalo na after a long weekend. it could take you up tp 3 hours para lang makabalik ng tagaytay from nasugbu.

yun stretch din from before silang cavite up to tagaytay sarap daanan. kaya lang nakaka gulat may mga tao motor at aso na biglang nasa gitna ng daan.

haha um last time i drove from nasugbu back to tagaytay, traffic wasnt so bad around 45min din. the real problem for me is yun poor visibility because of the lack of decent streetlights. there are some parts that really require u to go on high beam.

another decent piece of road is the road going to lago de oro in calatagan. may mountain part duon na medyo sharp curves and its aounrd 90% asphalt.

Marcos Highway going up to Baguio - world-class road/ driving experience

Road to Banaue via Lagawe,- nature trip!

Antipolo to Famy - great view of Laguna de Bay; watchout for the motorbikes

Famy to Real Quezon - used to be very good road,- the last time I was there
with the Alabangerz last April,- medyo may mga sira na...

Pagsanjan to Lucban Quezon (via Cavinti, Majayjay and Luisiana) - one hour
of surreal driving experience.

Bitukang Manok up in the mountains of Atimonan, Quezon - not for those with
weak heart.

Laoag to Pagudpud - great drive

nadadaanan ko tong daan na to everyweenend pag pumupunta ako PF. sarap drive dito. ahehehe! yun na nga you have to watch out for the occasional tricycle and crossing pedestrians and minsan basketballs. ahehehe!

+1 ako dito. pati yung section ng nasugbu na from munting buhangin to punta fuego.

isa pang ok is yung road leading to candelaria, zambales (papuntang dawal beach) merong mountain pass dun na well paved at maganda yung corners nya for exercising your car

Found an additional favorite mountain road during my weekend trip to Baguio... Baguio - Ambuklao. Concrete roads, nice view and fresh air.
