    baka yung mga makina hinde pa yun completely sira or hinde talaga na sira. yung engine sa lambo baka pwede ko yang ilagay sa naka stamby na mitsubishi celeste ko. parang ang body lang mostly na denistroy nila.

    Yep, especially considering those cars were designed to comply with newer regulations regarding recyclability. If the government really wanted to destroy those cars, they should have done it properly. By dismantling the cars, sorting the parts (most of them are coded) and then process them in an environmentally proper manner.

    Not get some backhoe and just smash at will...

    Cars being used as reefs are properly processed. All fluids and toxic materials are removed. Only the bare body shell (aka body in white when the car was still new) is dropped into the ocean.
