Ang nagpapalaki sa kita ng mga driver/operator is yung incentives.

may tinatawag silang surge charge yata kung rush hour.. minsan nakalagay fare x 4.. so kung ang fare mo 400.00 x 4 = 1600 babayaran nang customer.. kaya malaki kita nang driver/owner..

Pretty rare to have 4x surge nowadays, usually about 1.5-3x. And usually trips don't reach 400 (you'd have to travel Alabang to QC to get 400 base fare).

Normal lang yan. Ganyan lang talaga kita ng Uber. Which is why you can only earn from Uber via incentives.

Happened to a friend.. Makati to Ongpin took them over 2 hours... due to heavy rain and super traffic.. he paid 1600.

Yup it happens but rarely. And if it does, ubos na oras nung driver for more rounds.

Happened to me before, 150 lang dapat from house to airport but paid almost 500.

In any case, with the same rates as a taxi but only a 12 hour shift and higher maintenance and driver costs, I don't see how it's lucrative unless the incentives are standard.

I guess if your earning below 20k, mapapaisip ka mag uber driver (self driven). Pero not worth leaving your job pag kumikita ka naman ng mataas pa sa 30k.

Any update sir? natuloy po ba kayo? we wanted din po sana to try UBER but one of my friend told me na parang normal prankisa na din po ung process ngaun since accredited na ng LTFRB. Any advice po sa mga naka try na.. How hard po ung pag process?

I guess if your earning below 20k, mapapaisip ka mag uber driver (self driven). Pero not worth leaving your job pag kumikita ka naman ng mataas pa sa 30k.

If one is earning below P20K, he cant afford to buy a car in the first place....

Good point bro. Pero meron uber driver naka ipon pang down tapos iniwan na yun officemate ko hehehe
Mga march or april yun nag start sa kanya iirc.
