Not surprisingly, it looks like a distant cousin of the Aston Martin DB9. Both brands belong to the same Ford Family (under PAG-Premier Automotive Group, Ford's luxury brands).

The man who designed the new XK was also in charge of design at Aston before, DB7, I think. As it is, I think the front fascia is distinctive enough... it's a shame the rear 3/4ths view looks so similar, but as he was working under so many restrictions, it was bound to look similar... (he needed to incorporate the "trademark" Jaguar curves... reminiscent of the old E-Types and XKs, seen between the door and the haunch.)

AFAIK, lumang Jag XK yun sa Bond... at Aston Martin Vanquish... this could pass as a morph of the two, but I think it's distinctive enough.
