ae111 lumulutang?

i took a cab home one very early morning(don't ask), and medyo napakwento kami ng driver re the AE101 and AE111 corolla. Sabi nya is that ung AE111 daw e "lumulutang" pag mabilis takbo sa highway -- dunno what he meant pero i get the impression na medyo unstable sya at high speeds.

on the other hand, ung AE101 na minamaneho e "bumabaon" sa kalsada at high speeds -- parang mas maganda raw ang kapit...better aerodynamics perhaps?

comments, anyone? sana'y medyo cool lang po tayo sa pagsagot, and please don't take the above statements as entirely true -- for all we know this could be just a load of bullcrap

baka naman nya nasabing lumulutang is just because of the flourescent na nakakabit sa oto and when you saw that on the road especially at night puede mong sabihin sa sarili mo na lumulutang! its just myimagination maybe! but i saw a lot of cars in japan na may flourescent sa ilalim and super lowered ang oto at nasabi ko sa sarili ko na ang ganda nito parang lumulutang sa highway lalo na on the top speed......i dont if my feedback is right pero tutuo ang nasabi ko sa sarili ko nagn makakita ako sa highway and nasabi ko rin sa sarili ko na tutuo pala ang nakita ko sa movie ng TOO FAST.......TOO FURIOUS.......:car:

i think the 'lutang' effect is pretty common for economy cars, since they are light, are not aerodynamically tuned for top speed, and do not have sportscar steering, suspension or tires.

my 93 corolla, 92 civic, and countless rental cars were all like that...ewan ko lang kung mas maganda ang aerodynamics ng ae101 corolla.

i had a ae111 before, and i may say na tama yung cab driver. pag mabilis ako and pag may kasalubong na bus or truck also travelling a high speed, feel mo talaga na natutulak yung car. sa civic, walang ganitong feeling or sometimes very very slight lang.

sakin at high speed stable ang accord than corona, pero feeling mas mabilis mag accelerate corona..>>

late corolla yung 93~97 feeling lumulutang lalo na pag heavy rain..>>
