Update from my Foton Tornado 3.5C - Cummins 3.8

2 years na sya and running 70k mileage. So far ang nasira is yung AC ko feeling ko may butas ang mga pipes pero di ko pa pinapaayos kasi driver ko naman ang gumagamit at para tipid sa krudo.

So far ang pinalitan nanamin are:

    - cross joint (yung malapit sa rear axle)
    - windshield (palit from Aguila Glass)
    - bushing sa front shocks. left and right
    - brake diaphragm rear passenger side.

Wala pa naman major breakdown. Yung mga above mentioned na pinalitan are wear and tear. So. so far okay naman yung unit.

    FYI
    Engine oil - 10 liters
    Transmission oil - 6 liters
    Differential - 4 liters

Minsan pala nag karon ng black smoke yung unit ko, nag change oil ako tapos change Air and Oil filter then nilagyan ko additives. nawala naman usok.

    for commercial, "garapalang abuso" use,
    i suppose this is oik.

i remember, when the chinese buses first came into the country in the late 70s,
a common complaint was the propeller shaft.
    it would twist like pilipits...

    clearly,
one secret that is more top secret than a government's military secrets,
    is its metallurgical industry's secrets.

There is a reason why japan and south korea source their jet engines for military aircraft from the US. Japan and south korean metals are good, but not good enough to make jet engines with afterburners. Even our FA50PH planes supplied by korea sport US made engines.

There is also a reason why chinese copies of the SU 27 and SU 35 are not flying supersonic, because the engine blow up when they try to. Even the much ballyhooded J20, which is a SU35 copy in supposedly "stealth" clothing (the Indian Air Force scoffs, they can see it with ordinary radar) is said to be grounded for the same reasons. China has asked to buy the russian engines but the russians, cheated of their intellectaul property, are reluctant.
