What can you guys say about the Ford Everest? (merged threads)

Pricewise its a bargain!Probably one of the best deals in town. Sulit na sulit. may diesel engine pa siya

Stylewise i find it lacking. It has all the latest syling doodads but seems to lack integration. Doesnt seem like an pretty or macho 4X4. more plain Jane with plenty of accessories.

Diesel Peeps,

Just want to know your opinions with regards to Everest.

Is the engine good? Ride? Matipid ba?

Am planning to use it kasi home-office-home lang

Wala kasi ako mahanap na diesel na below 1m

With gas kasi medyo mahal ang crudo ngayon. Another factor is we load it with stuff sometimes so definitely diesel.

The engine of the Ranger pick-up is the same as the everest. a 2.5 diesel boosted by a turbocharger with a liquid to air intercooler. among the other 2.5'ers out there this is the king of the hill.

If you're used with the ride of a car, then brace yourself with this. coz the everest also borrowed the underchassis of the ranger which is double wishbone front and leaf sprung rear. though some peeps consider the ranger's ride as the most bearable compared to the nissan frontier's "rock hard" ride

regarding mileage, let's wait for the response of the other peeps.

pansin ko lang sa everest is that the driver's seat is too low tapos the pedals are a bit high so nakakangawit (walang height adjustment..)... ewan ko lang kung napansin ninyo ito sa showroom..
